Steve is the owner/operator of Preference Pools and spas. He is very hands on in all aspects of his company. He started working in the industry with his step father George in 1985, building and maintaining custom in-ground and above-ground pools. In 1991, he became the sole owner of Preference Pools and Spas. He is the area’s leading builder for custom vinyl and fiberglass swimming pools and spas.

Steve is a certified BioGuard specialist, as well as a trained tech for many other equipment manufactures such as Pentair, Hayward, Sta-Rite, BioGuard, Viking, Dimension 1, etc.

What ever you swimming pool, spa, or hot needs, Steve has a solution.

Raymond joined Preference Pools in 1994 as the store manager. However, he began in the industry in 1983, working with his grandfather George Forrest the founder of our company. He currently works in all aspects of our company; from running the retail store to pool and spa installations. He is a pool and spa water care expert. If your pool or spa water is not right he’s your guy?

Raymond is a certified ‘Technician A’ HotSpring spa technician as well as a trained tech for many other equipment manufactures such as Pentair, Hayward, Sta-Rite, BioGuard, Viking,etc.

Robert (Rob) joined Preference Pools in 1994 as a pool installer. He works in all aspects of our company, but his main focus is in pool and spa repair. In 2000, he became our service manager. If your pool or spa equipment is not working right he’s your guy.

Rob is a 2007 certified Grade A HotSpring spa technician, a certified BioGuard specialist, as well as a trained tech for many other equipment manufactures such as Pentair, Hayward, Sta-Rite, BioGuard, Viking, Dimension 1, etc.

Rob is a certified SCUBA diver and does most of the underwater repairs. You didn’t think we would make you drain your pool, did you?

Barbara is our most recent service professional. She joined Preference Pools & Spas in 2007. Barbara is the smiling face you see most often when you visit our retail store. She specializes in spa sales and water care. Before becoming part of our team, she worked for a HotSpring spa company in the greater Portland area. She is ready to help you in your water care, parts ordering, or service scheduling needs.
