Pool Construction

Building an inground pool can take approximately one to two weeks depending upon the weather and ground conditions. Constructing an inground pool is not hard, but there are many details to watch for. These pages will show the basics of how a pool is constructed through images and text descriptions. Note that this is not meant to be used to attempt building a pool without professional instruction.

First, the ground is cleared off and chalk is laid down to mark out where the pool will be constructed. This way, the owner of the pool can see precisely where it will be and can move it beforehand if they want to do something different.
